Ophthalmic Surgery:
The Centre has Operating Theatre with various advanced instruments to perform different ophthalmic surgery under local anaesthesia. Ophthalmic surgery includes
- Cataract Extraction and monofocal, multifocal and toric intraocular lens implantation
- Phakic intraocular lens implant surgery (Artisan/ Artiflex, ICL)
- Iris/ scleral fixated intraocular lens implantation surgery
- Iridoplasty / pupilloplasty
- Lamellar, penetrating and endothelial keratoplasty
- Corneal collagen cross-linkage treatment
- Sutureless pterygium operation
- Glaucoma surgery
- Eyelid surgery (including chalazion incision and curettage surgery)
- Intravitreal drug injection surgery
- Various conjunctival surgery
- Eyelid and retinal cryotherapy surgery
- Botox and Fillers injection therapy
The Centre also cooperates with other ophthalmic centres and private hospitals (including St. Teresa, Hong Kong Baptist, Union, Matilda and St. Paul Hospitals) in Hong Kong to provide various retinal, squint, orbital and dacryocystorhinostomy surgery under general or local anaesthesia.
