The Operating Theatre is equipped with a fully new full LED surgical microscope from Carl Zeiss, Polaris Surgical Light from Draeger, as well as electrosurgical unit and cryotherapy unit from Erbe to provide ophthalmic surgery of the best and finest quality. Air and water are filtered with filtration systems in the operating theatre, with sterilization by ultraviolet light. And regular bacterial culture monitoring and air quality assessment are carried out. Emergency power supply is also available to provide the safest operating environment for each patient. Ensuring patient’s safety as the priority, oxygen is provided throughout the operation with medical physiological monitor. The environment of the operating theatre is specially designed and patient can take a rest in a rest room after operation, thus providing a relaxing and comfortable environment for each patient to receive treatment.

Our theatre is equipped with new Alcon Centurion Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery System. It can minimize intraocular pressure and provide efficient lens emulsifying effect during operation, thus providing safer and more comfortable cataract surgery for patients.
